AUSTIN, TEXAS \u2013 MAR 6, 2025 \u2013 <\/strong>Buildxact, a global software as a service company that provides a simple solution for dealers, residential builders and remodelers to better manage and grow their business, reports that customers using Buildxact with The Home Depot pricing integration have grown business twofold year-over-year.<\/p>

\u201cIf you’re trying to solicit multiple vendors, you always get different pricing weeks apart, days apart, and all of that adds timeline to your build out,\u201d said Bradley presenting at the International Builder Show. \u201cWhereas if you’ve got The Home Depot tied to Buildxact, it’s an instant thing. You click it and in a couple seconds, it’ll load and it’ll populate whatever’s in that estimate with the latest Home Depot price, and it’ll lock it into that price.\u201d<\/p>

The new AI-powered estimating tool significantly reduces the time required for builders, like those at Operation Lifeline, to create accurate project estimates, giving them a competitive edge with up-to-date pricing from The Home Depot. The integration ensures precision, helping builders streamline the bidding process and win more projects.<\/p>

\u201cWe’re a nonprofit developer that focuses on veteran housing,\u201d Erick Saks, executive director at Operation Lifeline said, noting that the company is building five homes now, one of which will go completely mortgage free to a veteran. \u201cWe don’t have much when it comes to margins. Everything we do is very, very tight, so it’s critical that we know exactly what it’s going to cost, the projects that we’re putting together, the houses that we’re building, and this integration has been fantastic, especially in today\u2019s shifting lumber market.\u201d<\/p>

All the automation helps minimize errors and risks for the contractors.<\/p>

\u201cSpeed matters in construction\u2014quick and accurate estimates win jobs,\u201d Bradley said. \u201cIf clients receive\u00a0clear, detailed estimates\u00a0in record time, it builds\u00a0trust\u00a0and improves your close rate. Since implementing Buildxact, we\u2019ve achieved more than a 95% reduction in errors, with our template assemblies nearing 99% accuracy due to their meticulous setup. While no system is 100% perfect, the efficiency gains have been game changing, saving us countless hours per week and virtually eliminating costly mistakes.\u201d<\/p>

Bradley estimates that before using Buildxact to today, the company has been able to reduce almost 80% of time.<\/p>

\u201cWe already have $2.8M under contract in 2025, which is incredible,\u201d said Bradley. \u201cEven with that explosive growth, I haven\u2019t had to increase the amount of time I spend on estimating.
