Steve Yates
Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Steve Yates brings decades of entrepreneurial leadership experience in the construction industry, with specific emphasis on creating efficient global supply chains. Steve served as Buildxact’s Executive Vice President of Enterprise Sales from January 2020 until his appointment to CEO in May 2024, driving North American market priorities and global industry partnerships. Prior to joining Buildxact, Steve served as President and CEO of Cliftonvale, Inc. for 18 years, where he remains Chairman of the Board.
Fionn O'Keeffe
Chief Financial Officer
Fionn O’Keeffe, Chief Financial Officer, leads the finance team and manages company secretarial and legal affairs. Fionn is an experienced finance executive with a background in technology and service businesses with operations in Australia and overseas. Fionn has been CFO in companies operating in the private and public (i.e. ASX listed co) domains in organizations such as Whispir, Ascender, Optima Technologies Limited and Kepler Analytics.
Liam Fraser
Chief Revenue Officer
Liam Fraser, Chief Revenue Officer, leads the global revenue teams in customer and partner acquisition. He is responsible for all revenue and growth for Buildxact. An experienced executive and revenue leader, Liam has an extensive background building and leading high-performing revenue teams in a wide variety of industries and businesses, including organizations such as Singtel Optus, Amdocs, Telstra, Commander and NAB.
Chris Rennie
Chief Product Officer
Chris Rennie, Chief Product Officer, leads efforts to continually improve our products and services to support the needs of our customers. Chris works with our product team to identify new ways to serve the builders, manufacturers, suppliers and homeowners who make up our customer base. A disciplined and flexible leader, Chris has worked with a diverse set of companies, including Niche Media, CPA Australia and Murdoch Books.
Sarah Abernethy
Chief Growth Operations & Automations Officer
Sarah is Chief Growth Operations and Automation Officer at Buildxact, where she is responsible for building the systems, insights, and operating rhythms that enable the company to grow in a focused, customer-led, and scalable way.
Sarah strongly focuses on driving clarity over complexity. She is passionate about helping teams deeply understand customer value, making the customer perspective explicit in decision-making, and removing operational friction so people can do their best work.

Chief Experience Officer
Nicole Tanzillo serves as Chief Experience and Automation Officer. She spearheads the company’s comprehensive customer experience strategy. She is deeply committed to delivering genuine support for a seamless journey for every customer.
With more than 20 years of strategic leadership in SaaS and technology companies, Nicole has excelled across product, operations, and revenue functions. She uniquely blends strong customer empathy with rigorous engineering discipline.
Marissa Wagner
Chief Marketing Officer
Marissa Wagner, Chief Marketing Officer, leads the global marketing strategy and team across the entire customer lifecycle. An experienced marketing leader across a variety of industries, Marissa excels in brand management, customer acquisition, and digital innovation. She is passionate about aligning marketing strategies with business goals and fostering collaboration across teams. Marissa brings creative vision and data-driven decision making to Buildxact, strengthening its position as a leading construction management software provider.

John Allison
Co-founder and Chairman
John Allison, Chairman, is a co-founder of Buildxact and of LogicalTech, and has a long and successful history of building technology companies spanning over 30 years. His broad experience includes guiding the boards of numerous local and global technology start-ups. His passion for innovation and cloud technology has guided the growth of Buildxact from the start.
George Savvides
Director
George Savvides AM, board member, has more than 25 years experience as CEO of Australian and New Zealand health care companies. George currently serves as Chairman of SBS Australia and of iMed Radiology Network. He continues as a nonexecutive director of IAG. George retired from Medibank Private in 2016. During his 14 years of CEO leadership, Medibank Private completed a successful IPO and grew its market capitalization from $1 billion to $6 billion. He was previously Chair of Next Science, Kings Transport, Macquarie University Hospital and World Vision Australia.
Melanie Kalemba
Director
Melanie Kalemba has over 25 years of experience in management, sales, and finance, spanning both public and private companies across SaaS and B2B software. She currently serves as an independent board member for Thinkific (THNC.TO), Deck Internet Solutions, and Stord.
Melanie was General Manager, Americas for Amazon Pay. Before Amazon, she was SVP of Global Sales and Partnerships at BigCommerce, a leading ecommerce SaaS company and CEO of Movero Technology, Inc. (acquired by Calero Software).
James Greene
Director
Since 1980, Jim has served the global financial services industry, including 21 years at Accenture where he helped create and lead its global Financial Services business. He has held senior leadership roles as CEO of a technology start-up, Global Head of Financial Services at Capgemini, Global Head of Financial Services Consulting at Cisco, and Managing Partner of a private equity fund focused on incubating enterprise-class analytics software companies.
Jim has worked with more than 75 start-ups across fintech, payments, big data, and platform technologies. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Sky D Ventures, a venture fund and advisory firm investing primarily in seed-stage fintech and emerging technology companies while advising incumbents, disruptors, private equity, and venture capital firms.
Rob Goudswaard
Director
Rob Goudswaard currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Revolut Payments Australia Pty Ltd advisory board and Chairman of Cornerstone Healthcare Funds Management Pty Ltd. He is a Non-Executive Director of Centelon Pte Ltd and ANZ Lenders Mortgage Insurance Pty Ltd.
Prior to his Board directorships he was CEO of Credit Union Australia (now Great Southern Bank) and Rural Finance and 30 years with ANZ Banking Group.
Chaman Sidhu
Director
Chaman Sidhu has more than 25 years of experience in executive leadership, legal, governance, risk, compliance, intellectual property and government relations at public and private companies. Her executive career has spanned roles with global and scale-up SaaS, digital and publishing companies headquartered in Australia and New Zealand. She is currently a director of the literary organization, The Wheeler Centre, and start-up ecosystem builder, LaunchVic. Chaman previously held leadership roles with SaaS accounting platform Xero, digital creative marketplace Envato, and travel publisher, Lonely Planet.
